PURPOSE: To promote your business.

SELLING POINTS: Technorati was founded to help bloggers to succeed by collecting, highlighting, and distributing the online global conversation. As the leading blog search engine and most comprehensive source of information on the blogosphere, they index more than 1.5 million new blog posts in real time and introduce millions of readers to blog and social media content.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Go to http://technorati.com/Note: You must have a Technorati account
2. In the header, to the right of the search box, click the “Sign In” link
3. In the “Already a member?” area on the right, enter your member name and password
4. Click the “Sign In” button
5. In the main level navigation, rollover the “Blogs” button
6. Then scroll down and click the “My Blog” navigation item
7. On the “My Account” page, click the “Bio” tab
8. Under “Bio & Interests” write a short bio, enter your organization’s name, ZIP code and use the dropdown menu to select your location
9. Click the “Save Changes” button
10. Congrats! Your bio has been updated!
11. Now click on the “Photo” tab
12. Click the “Upload” buttonNote: A small window will appear that says, “Your image should be a png, jpeg, or gif…”Click the “Browse” button
13. Locate and select your photo
14. Click the “Use It!” buttonNote: It may take a couple minutes for your new photo to appear on the site.
15. Click the “Save Changes” button
16. Congrats! Your photo has been uploaded and you have successfully updated your Technorati profile!
